Hurricane Igor dangerously approaching the Haitian coast, and could cause significant damage in a country that has not yet identified the consequences of the earthquake of January 12. Floods are particularly feared, and the victims living in camps are on the alert, ready to be discharged at any time. This is one more event for Haitians. Men kontre power yo! Let us unite and give us your hand for them! Give generously to the Expe-Haiti mission and we will improve their living conditions when we are on the ground, from 3 November. Take Action Now. We will return with stories that will give you the pulse of the real situation in Haiti. Thank you!

Water mill
by Florence Bourg

Months have elapsed since the members selected to be part of the Expe-Mission Haiti 2010 began pondering to realize this adventure. Bottom line: we can say that the wings of the mill's mission Expe-turn quickly right now.

Everyone bought his ticket and the departure date is 3 November. A campaign of $ 30 000 in three months for children of Haiti was established. We started talking about us in newspapers (Journal de Quebec) and radio (FM 93.3). Some team members shoot faster than their shadows to gather donations and find partners. On Guard in there from our ideas (Catherine sells centerpieces for wedding guests), tastes (Friday-Second Cup Dany) and passions (the climbing-gift for Claude and Florence The Sports Auction for Serge, the Conference dinner for François-Guy, the tournament Robert's Golf, etc.).. It's a fire down action that awaits us in the coming weeks with all these fundraising events.

The medical team is bending over backwards to collect drugs and how best to deliver. The logistics committee has already one foot in Haiti to make sure everything goes as planned on the field. Clertida member Haitian team we regularly sends pictures of the children of the School-Mark Bourque we'll help, and it is a great motivator for the team and donors.

We have our hands firmly in the dough, and we tend to the children of Haiti. It's good to feel that this energy helps us to bring water to the mill.
