Café Haiti, Mission Accomplished! By Danny Carmichael
few months ago, I mentioned the project of humanitarian aid for Haiti to my friend Annie Driver, owner of Second Cup cafes of Place d'Youville and Sainte-Foy.
Without hesitation, she offered to help us raise money for our cause. The idea of Café Haiti was born!
Thus the 16 and 17 September last held our Café Haiti. Annie has mobilized its troops, decorated cafes of our posters, dressed employees of our sweaters ... nothing has been left at random to get people to help us by donating! The Second Cup team made a job of thunder!
Radio coverage and blogs have also contributed to the success of the Cafe Haiti. Gilles Parent, Isabelle Juneau and Alain Dufresne are just some examples of media people who, by ensuring that idea part of a conversation in a cafe is disseminated in the media in the region, helped make the difference .
During these two days, a sum of $ 1,422 was raised. Helping hand that we received! Annie and your team, on behalf of Haiti's children we can help any team in the Expe-Mission Haiti 1422 times you say thank you.
